About THE SERVICE

What areas do you operate?

Unity Entertainment is based in Sydney, NSW. Typical areas of operation for my Wedding DJ & Wedding MC services are all of Sydney Metro, as well as surrounding regions. Typically as far North as the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley (Pokolbin) and Northern Beaches. I also cover Blue mountains, Southern Highlands, Bowral, South Coast, Wollongong and Nowra area. Further regions may also be arranged upon request.  

What is included?

In every package, I include: 

  • A 5-hour tailored DJ / MC service for your wedding day,  and all industry standard sound, lighting & DJ equipment included.
  • Music suggestion playlists for:
    • Ceremony - procession
    • Ceremony - Recession
    • Entrance
    • First dance
    • First party song
  • Sample run sheet to help Schedule your day
  • Final run sheet appraisal service to give expertise on making things run smoothly
  • Personal Zoom meeting to help understand you and your needs and tailor your service. 
  • Ongoing phone and email support for any planning questions & advice
  • Coordination on your behalf with the venue and other chosen vendors.

What equipment do you use?

I use proffessional industry standard lighting and sound equipment, with redundancies in place. 

All of my gear is regularly serviced, tested & tagged for current electrical compliance. 

Can we book live music through you as well?

Yes! I am more than happy to help with recommending and arranging a live musician.  All musicians I suggest are people that I have worked with before,  and that I can personally vouch for.   

Our ceremony and canapes are in seperate areas to the reception. Can you cover all areas?

No problem! I bring a wireless battery setup for ceremony and canapes, its portable and can be set up and packed down quickly, and is seperate from my main DJ setup for the reception.

Are you a also wedding planner?

While I am not strictly a wedding planner in the traditional sense of sourcing and booking other vendors, I am happy to act as a consultant. I provide materials and resources from my knowledge base to make your planning easier, and I can offer ongoing support, suggestions and advice on whatever is needed in help with the decision making for your special day. 

All of the consulting service is included in every booking. 

About PRICING

How much do you charge?

Each package is tailored based on your needs, but typically my rates are between AU 1200 - 2000, including GST.  I understand that I am not the cheapest option out there, but my rates reflect all the experience, knowledge, care, effort and commitment I provide to you on your special day.   

How can I get a quote?

You can get a quote simply and easily in any one of these  ways:

Can we book you as Just a Wedding MC only, or as a Wedding DJ only?

Yes, I do offer to work as an MC only or DJ only. If working as an MC only I will closely liase with your chosen DJ, and conversely if you choose an external professional MC I will be working closely with them to ensure a smooth night. 

If you decide that one of your guests will be the MC,  I will still take on the other duties such as keeping events to schedule and liasiing with other vendors, so that your MC can still enjoy the evening as a guest. 

Do you charge extra for overtime, travel or more equipment?

I travel anywhere within Sydney Metro and Southern Highlands area without Travel fee. For areas such as Hunter Valley or South Coast, there is a travel fee. 

My standard package covers 5 hours and up to 150 guests. Extra guests require my sound boost package.

Outside of the 5 hour package I charge an hourly rate.

OTHER QUESTIONS

Are you LGTBQIA+ friendly?

Yes absolutley, and I have experience as an LGTBQIA+ Wedding DJ and Wedding MC. I take care to always use inclusive language.

Can we meet you first before booking?

Yes, I prefer to meet all couples first before they make their final decision, in order to understand each other and make sure we are the right fit. Typically I like to meet over zoom, but in person can be arranged. 

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I carry $30 000 000 Public Liability Insurance and professional indemnity Insurance.

Do you do other events?

While weddings are the specialty, I do all occasions - birthdays, engagements, parties etc.
